Our Story
Shannon and Luna met while studying mental health counseling at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland. Over the course of their two years of study, Luna and Shannon developed a deep respect for one another’s intellects, insights and abilities to understand the complexities of human nature. After graduation, Luna remained in Baltimore while Shannon moved to Los Angeles, CA and then eventually back to her home state of Florida. The two remained in touch, however, and would reach out to one another over the years for advice and accountability as they both built their own thriving private practices. Although they are different in many ways, there is a unique and special chemistry between Shannon and Luna which is immediately evident in their podcast.
